Hi John, I tried the support forum but got no reply from fellow SC users. My question is simple I think. In the grains, you can't use continuous contracts as July corn is a totally different product than Nov corn-old crop new crop. When I select NONE for the type of chart for Nov bean or Dec corn the charts will only go back as far as late May. Clearly, those charts have been trading for months before. One user said to go into global settings and check the tick and days to download. As you can see from Dec corn I have it at 1 tick and 730 days. How can I see further back, please? Thank you so much I am sorry to bother you but I need to see what a pure, non-continuous, chart for the new crop grains looks like. karen |

The general instructions for this are here: Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Using 'Date Range in File >> From' to Download More Historical Data The important point here is that you need to change the "Date Range in File From" to as far back as you want the data. Then make sure your Days to Load is set high enough. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
