Backup copy while running?

I have an app which makes a zipped copy of my Sierra Chart folder every day at the same time (excluding the data folder). That zipped file is then uploaded to my cloud service. This is my backup. My question: does it matter if Sierra Chart is running while the zip copy is made of the SC folder? Will all files in the SC folder be included in the zip if SC is running? |
