The instructions below from Sierrachart documentation do not work. I still have to keep scrolling manually to keep the main graph center horizontally. Is there a setting to keep the last bar centered along the x axis of the chart?

To keep a specific number of empty bars ahead of the main graph on the screen in Sierra Chart, you can use the "Forward Projection Bars" setting. This setting allows you to specify the number of bars that will be displayed ahead of the last bar of the main graph. Here are the steps to set this up:
Open Chart Settings:
Go to the chart you want to adjust.
Select Chart >> Chart Settings from the menu.
Adjust Forward Projection Bars:
In the Chart Settings window, go to the Display tab.
Look for the setting labeled Forward Projection Bars.
Enter the number of bars you want to display ahead of the main graph. For example, if you want 20 empty bars ahead of the main graph, enter 20.
Apply and Save Settings:
Press OK to apply the settings and close the Chart Settings window.
If you want to save these settings for future use, you can save the chartbook by selecting File >> Save from the menu.
Example Steps in Detail:
Open Chart Settings:
Select the chart you want to adjust.
Click on Chart in the menu bar.
Select Chart Settings.
Adjust Forward Projection Bars:
In the Chart Settings window, navigate to the Display tab.
Find the Forward Projection Bars setting.
Enter the desired number of empty bars to display ahead of the main graph. For example, enter 20 if you want 20 empty bars.
Apply and Save Settings:
Click OK to apply the changes.
To save these settings for future use, go to File >> Save and save the chartbook.
By following these steps, you can ensure that there are always a specified number of empty bars ahead of the main graph in Sierra Chart. This can be useful for projecting future price movements or for other analytical purposes.

That is not the correct documentation. The "Forward Projection Bars" do not establish the position of the bars. They simply allow you to establish a certain amount of time for which there will be blank space ahead of the last bar in the chart. This can allow you to place items in that region.

What you are looking for is the "Lock Fill Space" setting. Refer to the following:

In addition, this might also be of some help: On the right side of the chart, right-click the price ladder, left-click Scale Settings, select Constant Range, and then set Range, Scale Mode, and Ticks from Center to whatever works for you.
