What is the difference between the NASDAQ TotalView and the Consolidated Tape? I've read through it several times and am not making sense of it. From what I currently understand, TotalView is not tick-by-tick data, but Consolidated tape is. So what exactly does TotalView give you? I'm looking for all US stock data (historical and real-time) + level 2 depth to be viewed on the Sierra Chart platform, essentially mimicking what CME full depth currently does for futures. What exactly do I need to subscribe to? Thanks. Edit: Are options chains and time/sales also available? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-06-13 19:02:58

NASDAQ TotalView is the trading of US stocks on NASDAQ. And it also includes market depth data and market by order data. You really need to subscribe to both NASDAQ TotalView and the US equities consolidated tape data feeds, to get everything that you need. Option chains are not available but time and sales data is provided. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
