Inside Bar study and Bar Period Type

Hi all, Please help me, I'm working on a strategy using the "Inside bar" study, what are the "bar period type" that will work with this study? For example, the "Bar Period Type:Range Per Bar - True (in ticks)" wont show any "Inside Bar". Thanks
