We have no idea what you mean by "Simulated Feed" or how you have this setup. You are correct that the sub-instance orders (when not in "Simulation Mode" in that sub-instance) are sent to the main instance. So whatever service the main instance is in (including "Simulation Mode"), the sub-instance orders will route there. I have 2 SC instances on same computer The 2nd is connected to the simulated feed and working accordingly. When i try to add to that simulate feed a new sub instance i have in the sub instance the live account while on the on the main instance of the simulated feed i don't (as expected) and i wonder how the sim. Feed sub instance will route if i have the live account there and dont have the account i added in the trade accounts management window |

We really do not know what you mean by "Simulated Feed". But the issue you are having is that sub-instances need to know which main instance to connect to. If you did not change this specifically for having multiple main instances, then sub-instance will connect to whichever instance was started first. one more question, please when I open the activity log of the main instance, I can see their trades from the sub instances as well because I want to see the trading activity per symbol and not as per symbol+ expiration (i also can not select multiply symbol+expiration) so I separated to subinstances though i see that the sub instances and the main instance all share all the data with each other please advise thanks |

Yes this is true. : though i see that the sub instances and the main instance all share all the data with each other
Also be aware of this setting: Trade >> Trade Activity Log >> Edit >>Load Fills for Multiple Futures Contracts. This will load fills for other contract months for the same underlying symbol.
