Hi
Customers are asking why these 2 charts are showing start times of 11am. They close at 20.55 but don't reopen until 11am. Nothing has been changed at our end - what can be the reason for this?

The official market hours for the data we get from FXCM is 06:00 to 20:00 GMT.

If you are not seeing data for this full time range, then check the Session Times in your Chart Settings to ensure they are set to cover the time period. Refer to the following:
Chart Session Times

Thanks - that was the problem. I'm wondering if this is a new setting? We've been using the same chartbook for many years and this is the first time I've come across that setting. If it was always there, I'm wondering why we've never had the problem of these 2 charts opening at 11:00 before? Is there anything we can do to ensure the start and finish times of the charts we use (specifically UK100 and FR40) are correct for new users? A lot are elderly and rather computer-shy and I'm already giving them a long list of things to set up!

There have been no changes to the Session Times in many years. We have no idea why anything would be different lately for you.

Maybe no one ever noticed! But as the start time should be 06:00 and it's coming out as 11:00 is there anything to change that default other than making a setting change?

You can change the Symbol Settings so that the correct time is set for that symbol. In the Symbol Settings are all 4 Start and End times along with a Time Zone. The Time Zone in the Symbol Settings just sets the time zone for the times that are entered in the 4 Start/End times. Refer to the following for how to edit Symbol Settings:
