Hi, I've done a lot of reading and testing on the Automatic Trendlines and they are very useful with the Swing high/low indicator (even Market Structure) and also using channels. My understanding is for Downtrend lines, then lower highs are used to plot lines and Up Trends higher low lines are plotted. Is there a way to plot Automatic Trendlines for Lower Lows as Downtrend lines..? Thanks, |

You define what data is being used for the Downtrend and Uptrend lines. So you can use the Lows to define a downtrend line. But for the downtrend, the system is going to find the highest value and then the next highest value and draw the line between them. There is not way to change how it does this calculation, apart from editing the code itself - which is available in the Studies4.cpp file in your ACS_Source folder under your main Sierra Chart installation folder.
