Is there a way to turn off the log window? Pop ups are a pain. If not can you put one in?

No, definitely not. If the Message Log is opening there is a reason for it because there is a particular message you should be aware of.

I understand that but shouldn't that be left to up to the user? Problem is that every Sunday when I start up my system for the week I get a ton of log windows. Also, and more frustrating, everyday after the market close I get numerous log repeating the same thing stating: "TransAct Trading | Disconnected from the server. | 2014-08-14 16:33:36"

This happens every single day when the Globex shuts down for maint.

Sounds like you are referring to the Trade Service Log. That will open up during connections to TransAct and I think also disconnections . This is something which TransAct has control over. They have the ability to pop open that window through the DTC protocol.

Could we at least be able to move the log window away from the middle of the screen ?
Both trade service log window and message log window.
I just want to resize it and move it off to the side. I dont care if it cant be disabled.

Yes of course. You should have no trouble moving the Log windows wherever you need.

No ,I meant the default location where it pops up. Not moving it once it pops up.

Here's what I do:
Grab the corner of the Log and shrink it to a small size, then part it out of the way. When I want to see what is in the log, I grab the corner again and expand it. Result: no pop-ups.
