Hello Support, I have 2 Rithmic accounts and I like to use the Allocation feature. If I fail a Prop Firm evaluation, I will get assigned a new account number. Is there a way to allocate once and that is transferred to the other Chartbooks that I am using? Currently I have 4 Chartbooks, one for each symbol. within the chartbook I have 3 windows with different timeframes that I may take trades from. So I am setting up allocation 12 times, 3 times for each chartbook. Thank you. Jermain |

We are not really understanding your question. Your chartbooks and hence charts, have no dependency on the specific trading account, apart from the one that you select to be viewing at that time for that chart. The point here being that whatever you have already created for your charts are yours and they will not change when you change accounts. The one thing you will have to do, if you do get a new account, is to setup the "Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" for that new account. You would have to remove the old account and add the new one. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello John, Sorry if my explanation is unclear. Hopefully I can explain this better. If I have a chartbook for S&P 500 and a chartbook for Crude Oil and I allocate Account #1 with Account #2 in my S&P 500 chartbook, that will not carry over to my Crude oil chartbook. I will have to allocate for that chartbook. So in my S&P 500 chartbook, I have 3 charts open: 15min chart, 5 min chart and 1hr chart. if I set the Allocation on the 15 min chart, it will not automatically set up the allocation for the 5min and 1hr. So I have to do them all individually and then do the same for the crude oil charts. Is their a way to just do this allocation once and it carry overs to all my charts? |

There is not a way to "copy" the setup, but there are two options available that can help: 1. Use Trade Window linking. You can have the Order Allocation setup information be part of the linking. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Chart Linking >> Trade Window (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Linking menu) 2. Setup a Trade Window Configuration that includes the Order Allocation setup and then use that on another chart. Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Using and Changing Between Different Trade Window and Attached Orders Configurations In both of these cases, you need to enable the option for the Order Allocation to be included. These options are on the "Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" setup page. Refer to the information at the following link and the item below it: Order Allocation to Trade Accounts: Order Allocation to Trade Accounts Include in Linking For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
