Hi, Have just reactivated my Sierra Chart and the Volume profile on my DOM is only building from the time I login rather than bringing in the session data. I am using the trading day start time - reset at day session setting. Was working previously. Thanks Adam |

Make sure the Session Times and Time Zone are set as you require in the Trading DOM: Chart Session Times: Session Times Time Zone Setting: Using Different Time Zone in Individual Charts And go to a seperate Intraday chart for the symbol: Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" from the main Sierra Chart menu. You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. This command is on the main Sierra Chart menu at the top. Only use it from that location. Hi, Have followed the instructions and the issue remains. edit: I should add that I also closed down and when reopening it had retained the volume profile from the initial login but not the full session. Thanks Adam Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-04-11 08:30:58

You are using Rithmic data and the Rithmic data often does not have the historical data from when you were not connected. Open a chart for the same symbol and see if the underlying data is present. If it is not, then this is completely related to the Rithmic data not being complete. The solution to this is to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed for your data instead. Hi John, Thanks for the response, is the Rithmic behavior peculiar to Sierra Chart as I have been using it with Jigsaw Daytradr and it loads the historical data without any issue? Thanks Adam |

We can not say if it is peculiar to Sierra Chart or not, as we do not know how other systems handle this. But what we can state is that the interface that is used by Rithmic to connect to Sierra Chart was built by Rithmic, so the issues that exist are completely within their realm to fix.
