Dear Sirs, I try to find better way to use the associated watchlist. I trade stocks through Interactive Brokers. Pain point is that, when i use associated watchlist, it is only changing the 'Symbol (Action)' on a chart. eg. AMD-NQTV. To trade stocks, i also need to change 'Trade and Current Quote Symbol (Action)', eg. AMD-STK-SMART-USD. This latter one is not changing via associated watchlist, at least not by default. Is it possible to make this to be changed too when changing the symbol from watchlist? Thanks! BR Jarno |

You can setup a "Trade And Current Quote Symbol" in the "Symbol Settings" and you can use the pattern matching options. So if you always use the same information for every 4 letter stock, you would modify the symbol entry for ???? to have a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" of "????-STK-SMART-USD". Then every time you have a 4 letter stock (such as META), you would have the equivalent Trade and Current Quote Symbol (META-STK-SMART-USD). If you need slightly different Trade and Current Quote Symbols, then you would need to duplicate the base symbol (?, ??, ???, etc.) and then put the specific symbol you want and then add the Trade and Current Quote Symbol as you want. Be sure to also set the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol" to "Yes". Refer to the following: Global Symbol Settings: Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
