This maybe a simple fix, however I am looking to backtest swings over multiple days, and I want the PnL in the trade window to not reset back to 0ticks, after everyday, and want the PnL to be cumulative. e.g, first trade makes 100ticks, then a few days later i make 100 more ticks, so PnL would print 200t rather than resetting. thanks |

I think this study is what you need to use... Trading Information Windows: Trade Data Studies Trading: Closed Profit/Loss: This study will display the cumulative profit/loss from closed Trades that there are order fills for in the Trade Activity Log for the Symbol and Trade Account. All available order fills are included. A closed Trade is one in which there is an opening fill and a closing fill. A currently open Trade which has no corresponding closing fill is not included in the study. For further details, refer to the Trades tab of the Trade Activity Log. |

Yes that is one solution to use that study. You cannot prevent the resetting of the Daily Profit/Loss but you can use this study to see the Cumulative Profit/Loss: Trading Information Windows: Trading: Profit/Loss Text Study Also refer to: Trade Activity Log: Understanding and Setting the Start Date-Time for a Trades List This is relevant to control the starting Date-Time for the cumulative Profit/Loss calculation.
