Hi Sierra Chart Community, I've been using the Time Range Highlight feature to mark out the overnight session, so I can clearly see where the NY session kicks off at 9:30 AM. However, I've noticed that regardless of the time frame I choose, the shading continues through the 9:30 AM candle. I'd really like the shading to stop just before the 9:30 AM candle on all time frames, so I can easily pinpoint the start of the NY session. Is this a bug? Is it possible to change a setting to ensure that the 9:30AM candle is not included in the Time Range Highlight to make sure the opening candle of the NY session is not included in the overnight session and so the open is clearly demarcated? I tried rolling the Time Range Highlight end time for this study back but then realized if I switch to a 15min chart then the end of the overnight is even more off base so changing the end time is not a good solution. I've confirmed that the end of the Time Range Highlight on Sierra Chart, with end time set to 9:30AM, is one candle late based on the 9:30AM candle for the same session seen in the Trading View screenshot. We updated the documentation here to answer this: Time Range Highlight You need to adjust the End Time to an earlier time. One second earlier should resolve the problem.
