I'm aware to the Write Bar and Study Data to File study. But, which is the best form to set my chart to collect data in the best possible way? I mean the settings, like the type of future contract, intraday chart or historical, I want Volume indicator in it, Bid Ask Indicator too, OHLC. I want to collect data from the last 10 years. I would appreciate some info to set the charts to collect data in the most reliable and precise way. Thanks. |

The most important thing is to ensure that your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit" is set to "1 Tick", so you have every trade for your data. If you need to change this, then be sure to redownload the data for your symbols, to ensure you have the 1 tick data for all your historical data in your files. Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) Otherwise, the setup is up to you and what you need. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
