When i load up 6B my charts work fine and loads very quickly. However when I try to open other symbols such as nasdaq futures it just sits on either stuck on downloading continuous contract data or waiting to download historical data - these images are of june contract nasdaq futures https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1710870294653.png https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1710870310561.png |

Keep in mind that the system needs to download the data that it does not have. So if you already have the necessary data for 6B, then it will load up the chart from the existing data and go. For the NQ, it is definitely downloading data from our server, so you do not already have all the historical data for that chart, so it has to download it. And, the NQ chart is a Continuous Futures Contract chart, so it is needing to download the data for any contracts that make up that chart that are not already downloaded. So what you are seeing is normal. You need to give it time to run and get the data. Especially if you are trying to load a lot of days of data into that chart. If you feel it is taking too long, then select "Edit >> Cancel Intraday Data Downloads" and then change the number of days to load for that chart to something relatively small (no more than 10 days) and then see if it loads up in a relatively reasonable time. If you can get this, then increase the number of days to what you want and then wait for it to complete.
