Keyboard shortcuts not working or typing in title bar and Control Bar

Hello, everything has been working fine, the only thing I have changed is I detached a control bar that has a few buttons of concern attached: Chart Study, Chart Settings, Lock FIll Space When I press the corresponding keys, THey do not activate the action anymore. Also when pressing backtick (bound for Lock fill space), I see it typing backticks in the titlebar. I have confirmed the backtick is still bound to Lock Fill Space as well as the other two binds I restarted sierra, and the issue resolved, however once i detached a control bar, the issue presented itself again Thank you for the help |

When you set a Control Bar to "Float", it will function for the currently selected chart. Depending on how you have your charts setup, it can be a bit confusing on which window is taking the input from that control bar. Make sure the chart you want to affect is selected and then select the control bar button you want, it should affect that chart. With regards to the "backtick" key, we can not say for sure what is occurring, but we do not recommend attaching a keyboard shortcut to a single key. This has the potential to create issues where the system does not know if you are wanting to use the keyboard shortcut for that key or just the key itself. It sounds like this is the problem you are encountering with this.
