We are not sure exactly what you are wanting to calculate or exactly how you are wanting to display the information. Please give us more information if the following does not help: To start with, there are the "Percent Change Since Open" and "Percent Change since Previous Close" studies. Refer to the following: Percent Change Since Open Percent Change Since Previous Close If this is a straightforward calculation, then you can use either the Arithmetic studies or the "Spreadsheet Formula" study. Refer to the following: Using the Basic Arithmetic Studies Spreadsheet Formula If this a more complex calculation that you are trying to put together, then you might need the Spreadsheet Study to do it. currently, i use numvber bars calculated values to view the high low range for each bar, which i may vary to daily, weekly, hourly and so on. I would like to view this H/L range in % term (H-L/previous close). it would be great to view this bar range % in a row below high-low range in the number bars calculated values. thank you |

since i would watch daily range % for many stocks and for all time frames, i shall be grateful if you can help add this t the number bars calculated values indicator, or whatever, so that I can check this % across a length of time, and across different stocks. thank you

This is not something we can get to anytime soon. Use the options we mentioned above for either the Arithmetic studies or the Spreadsheet Formula. Then add this to a new region and set the "Draw Style" for the particular subgraph to "Value of Subgraph" and set the "Size/Width" to something that is visible (typically start around 10). Then set your scale to show a wide range in order to show the numbers all in a single line. It's not exactly the same as the Numbers Bars Calculated Values, but will give you what you are wanting. Refer to the following in addition to the information above: Chart Studies: Value of Subgraph (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_VALUE_OF_SUBGRAPH) Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Line Width For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
