Greetings, I am trying to have the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study alert when there is aggressively high or low delta present. My alert condition for this study is: =OR(SG1 >= 500, SG1 <=500) Yet I receive no audible alert nor is there anything logged in the Alert Manager for the alert condition. What am I doing wrong? |

Since you are using just a reference to a subgraph (SG1) instead of the Study and Subgraph (ID1.SG1) the alert condition needs to be entered on the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study itself. If it is on the study itself, then you should be getting an alert. In fact, you should be getting an alert for every update (depending on how you have set the options for the Alert), as your formula is stating to alert whenever the SG1 subgraph is any value at all. You may want to change the alert condition. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
