I have added additional symbols to my main chart but can't add a priceline within the additional symbols. Is that possible?

Yes, this should not be an issue with this. Just make sure the "Current Price Line" study has the "Based On" set to the "Add Additional Symbol" study you want, and that the Region is set to match where that "Add Additional Symbol" is located.
