Hi, This issue was resolved by deleting all data and downloading it again but I just thought I'd mention it. So I rolled over yesterday on ES and everything was fine and EOD I logged off. When I logged back in again around 0000 UK time (I'm in the UK) my chart was all messed up. The first thing I did was reload and recalculate, I don't know what that actually does but it didn't fix the issue. I have my data set to continuous contract volume based rollover. I didn't know what was going on at the time but looking at this screen shot now, it looks like it was displaying the previous contract bars for some reason, you can see where my fills were for the day and a huge gap. The second pic is after I deleted and downloaded data again, and you can see it is fine again Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-03-12 09:45:34

If you were trading the June contract (M) at that time, then what it looks like is that you were displaying the data for the March contract (H) at that time and when you reloaded it changed to the June data. We do not know why this would have occurred, as the Volume changeover should be on the start of the trading day on Monday.

Yes that is what happened. The yellow box came up just after the open saying volume based rollover, I click to rollover which I did to the new contract M. I traded the M contract all day. Then shut SC EOD. Then when I rebooted later on the chart was all messed up displaying the H contract again, until I deleted all data and reloaded. It was just my SC as 3 friends finally switched to SC last week and have been on my case all weekend setting it up, so we all rolled over on volume, and I was able to tell them to reboot SC and send me a screen shot when this happened to me. Their SC were all fine lol Anyway it was solved so all good Thanks |

Hi, I think you guys are looking at this a little too deeply. All that happened was at the NY open on Monday SC rolled over on the ES from H contract to M, based on volume. Continuous contract not back adjusted. Same thing that it has done perfectly for the last 2 years that I've used SC. I traded M for the day, all fills were correct. Everything was correct when I closed SC EOD. When I rebooted SC at midnight on Monday, SC loaded the old H contract bars on my screen and not the M contract. That is why the fills were misaligned, because SC loaded up H bars instead of the M when I rebooted. Its like SC didn't save when I exited that it rolled based on volume 11 hours before? Basically SC acted as though no volume based rollover had taken place 11 hour earlier, yet was displaying M contract fills on the incorrectly loaded H chart. Seems like it just didn't save that we had rolled when I exited, nothing more than that. Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-03-15 13:19:15
