A) SC installation 1 tracks ES* and CL* symbols. SC installation 2 tracks only CL* symbols.
If I now want to also track ES* symbols in SC installation 2, can I copy the ES*.dly and ES*.scid files from SC installation 1 data dir over to SC installation 2 data dir? Will SC installation 2 then automatically detect and use these data files?

B) If a trading service uses a different symbol set (e.g. IBKR), but SC's Denali data feed is used. Can I re-use the ES*.dly and ES*.scid files downloaded in the 'SC Data - All Services' service by renaming/copying them to the respective new symbol filename? E.g. I noticed that the ESZ23-CME.dly and ES-202312-CME.dly are identical. But I am not sure about the .scid files. Will SC then automatically detect and use these renamed data files when switching to IBKR?

A) If the symbols are the same, so you are using the same connected service, then yes, you can do this. But it really does not matter, as any data that is needed in the other installation will be downloaded. This might just save you a little bit of time up front.

B) No, you can not rename the Intraday files and expect them to work properly.
