Pivot Points Daily Study not working when day session spanning to calendar days

Dear Sierra, The Pivot Points Daily Study is not working when in the chart settings I set the day session spanning to calendar days (eg, from 17:15:00 to 17:14:59). Instead it returns zero values. Can you please help me with this? Many thanks, K |

Those Session Times will not cause a problem so there must be some other reason. Refer to the information here: Pivot Points are not Accurate or are Different If you still have a problem, we need you to create a Chartbook that contains one chart and no other charts, only one chart please, and that chart needs to have the Pivot Points Daily study set up which demonstrates the problem. Thank you. I went over Help Topic 65 and changed the Pivot Points Daily Study to reference a Historical Daily chart, and it worked. Problems is the Historical Daily chart does not allow to set session times, it is based on a 24 hour period from 00:00:00, and I want to calculate pivots from 17:15:00 to 17:14:59. If I do not make reference to a Historical Daily chart then the Pivot Points Daily Study calculates all pivot values as zero. I'm attaching the chartbook - with two cleaned up charts, a historical and an intraday. Please let me know, Thanks |

Historical Daily Chart bars follow the session times set by the exchange. They do not start from midnight.
