Market Profile charts keep reverting to show only 5 days data

Hi, I keep running into the same issue where the market profile charts are only showing a limited amount of data (5days) and I don't know what is causing the issue or how to correct once it happen - other than recreating the chart each time This is not a data related issue (as responses to other posts have suggested) because I have been able to see the data and can see it on other charts The issue occured this time as soon as I split the market profile on the left hand chart - before that point is was fine The attached screen shot shows the same profile for XU, the left is where I split the profile and can now only get 5 days data, the right side was the same data but I hadn't split the profile (as you can see there is no issue with data loading) File A -> the TPO limited 5 days data -> https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1709633868730.png File B -> the TPO before I tried splitting the profile -> https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1709633972179.png |

The screen can only show much data. Therefore, when you split the profile, it needed the space to show you that information. To get to the data that was there previously, you would need to scroll the chart back, or decrease the bar spacing to see more data.

that's not correct because I've have it working on a seperate chart, there is a bug or a hidden setting somewhere If I open a TPO chart I can see all the data, when I change session timing to Use Evening Session = NO (from Yes), then all the data disappears and I only get 5 days I know what you are saying is incorrect because I have a chart where it is working already but when I duplicate that chart the evening session get changed from No to Yes and when I switch it back all the data disappears again Here is a image of it working - https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1710252696422.png Here is an image of it working when I duplicate the chart but it changes to include evening session - https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1710252813656.png now when I change it to exclude evening session I loose all but be 5-6 days worth of data - https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1710252956705.png This issue has been posted by multiple people but the response from support is that it's working as expected These screen shots tell a different story |

When you have the chart with only 7 days showing, have you tried scrolling back to view the additional data? Changing the option for "Exclude Evening Session" will not have any impact on the number of days of data that is loaded. If you are not getting the number of days to display as you are expecting, then there must be something else occurring. ok so I've resolved it, when you duplicate a chart it resets the data so you need to reload it by increasing the "Days to Load for Intraday Chart Data Type" under chart settings if I increase this to 30 it pulls the missing data back into the new chart this thread can be closed thanks |
