Is it possible to create an alert for when a renko chart changes from green to red or vice versa? Since renko is a bar type and not a study, I was not sure if this could be done. -PZ |

I think there is a renko study which would enable you to do it with a spreadsheet alert. It may be under custom studies. |

Yes. This can be done by setting the alert through on the chart itself: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_AlertCondAndScan.html#EnterAlertOnMainPriceGraph Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I suppose this would involve SG22 as indicated on that page. If anyone has any suggestions on what operator to use, please post. Thanks, PZ Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-08-07 11:55:46

Crazybears, Just a simple audio alert. I can figure that part out, I am puzzled as to how to format the alert. Thanks for asking! PZ |
