Hi, with recent changes of properties window i want to share my point of view that is based on almost 6 years of using SierraChart. With the new redisgned window for CHART settings and some other global settings i see that those changes are very positive in terms of "friendly touch " for new and old user. Its generally easier to find some settings. BUT For the properties window of tools i cannot share the same opinion ( I recently updated my sierra to 2604 from 2500). Now i see that new designed properties window has been implemented e.g Horizontal Line tool. I hope that maybe you will rethink and back to old one. Using this new properties window is absolutely nightmare. Loading settings becames very unintuitive. With old look i only need 2 clicks to TC config to load or save now a need to set several settings to just get it and it cannot still load old TC settings.. Window with properties always appear in main DISPLAY not in the chart (i am using detached chart so its very anoying). Generally that changes for tools properties window doesn't work on favour for Sierrachart user. That opinion also came from my friends who also using sierra for many years and sharing simillar point of view. Please take it into considaration to not changing properties windows for tools to new designed. I do understand that changes are necessary, but not all changes are good. We take all of this seriously, and we will be going through all of these items. Some of which have already been resolved/improved upon, but will have some additional improvements. Could you please explain this one though: and it cannot still load old TC settings.
We see no problem loading existing configurations. Internally all of this functionality remains the same. Only the interface is different. Maybe we need to get your global configuration file. We would need to know the specific drawing tool and configuration number. And to reduce the number of "clicks", the Settings Windows have have options to control their behavior: Settings Windows Interface: Changing User Interface Behavior And there are also keyboard shortcuts: Settings Windows Interface: Keyboard Shortcuts The old dialogs definitely cannot be added back for all of the reasons explained here: Settings Windows Interface: New Chart Settings Window Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hello, Thank you for explenation and links. I found that issue with settings for anchors of line that doesn't apply to my level happened when: Line is copy into to other chart in same chartbook I am changing anchors level not from "orginal" chart where line was firstly drawn but from the chart that line is copied. |

Update to the current version of Sierra Chart, and you will see the Show/Hide, Lock/Unlock buttons on the first tab of the Chart Drawing Properties window.
