I'm using top 50 nasdaq stocks in my chartbook to process different data. some stocks do not print duting several seconds and then when prints, they reajust a lot a calculation i do. apparently there is no way to force the graph to generate the missing data in between 2 prints of several seconds (graph is 1 second time period). therefore, would there be a way to create these missing timestamps directly in the buffer that feed the graph ? if yes, where would be the documentation on that topic ? mega thank you |

thank you mate - this works for "after new print" data. it will repopulate the chart in between the previous timestamp and the new fresh timestamp. what i would need is sierra to continuously create new data in the grapgh even though no new data has been received from the sierra streaming data feed. some kind of augmentation of the feed where i could say : if no new data since 1 second, create 1 record with same bid/ask/price as previous record & trade = 0 & volume = 0 |
