I am trying to use a Sierra Chart Spreadsheet and automatically get the Balance of my Interactive Brokers Account to put into my SC spreadsheet. The reason for this is because I use some extensive Money Management algorithm and I always need to keep track of my latest Account Balance in Interactive Brokers in all of the currencies that are in the Account. I use these balances to automatically establish how much I have in my home currency (GBP) in real-time using the SC exchange rates in the spreadsheet. The problem I am having is working out how to get my Interactive Brokers Balances (in the multiple currencies) into a SC spreadsheet? I can also use ASCIL if this will help if you can point me in the right direction? Regards and thanks |

Are you aware you can get the base account balance in the spreadsheet? Other than this, you cannot get any other currency balance into a spreadsheet or access it with ACSIL.

I wasn't aware of this 1) Where is the documentation please so I can do this? 2) Is the base account balance a summed total of all the currencies (converted at their exchange rate) from the broker or just the amount of currency in the nominated base currency? |

1. https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#CellJ47 2. We do not know. You should ask IB and have a look at the value and try to make your own determination.
