I am having trouble understanding how to get my RSI moving average to change once it crosses past the 30 or 70 value area. I like the way I get a color change on the image below when it crosses this point. Everything I looked up said to add the study Color Based on Alert Condition but I am having a challenging time trying to set that up to work. I have changed all the settings and still can't get the study to change colors when passing the 30 or 70. It is currently linked to the RSI study.

Attached is a Study Collection that does what you want for coloring above the 70 line. You should be able to use this as a starting place to then setup the second Color Bar Based on Alert Condition for when the RSI is below 30.

Note that you may see some peaks that are not colored, or the line is not fully colored, this is because the way the drawing works, if there is a quick jump above 70 for 1 bar then all you would see drawn is a dot at that point since there is nothing to connect it to on either side. The only solution to this is to smooth out the RSI so there is not as many of these quick jumps.
