Hello if i want to trade e mini or micro s&p500 i need to have datafeed from CME exchnage? And if i want to use orderflow analysis for an example be able to use market profile, volumeprofile and footprint i need to have service package 11 integrated advance from sierrachart and then i need to choose fallowing data feed? : Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts ( does market depth allow me to use footprint and voluemprofile and market profile? and what does non professional trading accounts stand for? or Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for non-professional Trading accounts (what does nonprofessional trading accounts stand for? and if i choose this one can i use voluemprofile and marketprofile and footprint? i guess not because there is no marketdepth buy maybe i am wrong? or CME non-professional top-of-book (what does non prifessional trading account stand for? and what does top of book stand for? i am a retail traders that wants to trade futures.) and one last thing before i go. I wonder if you can correct me. I need a service package 11 from sierrachart to be able to use footprint, volumeprofile and marketprofile? now that I have a service package selected, I need to select a data feed that I will activate so that I can have data sent to me by an exchange. But right now I only want to test simulated trading in sierrachart with realtime data feed, so can these or at least any of these 3 data feed services work for me? or do I need to have a brokerage account and money deposited and trade with real money? |

For the CME Group, a "Non-Professional" is someone that does not trade other people's money and they are not listed on the FINRA database of brokers. But, it also means that you have a live, funded, futures trading account of your own. Refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Therefore, you do need to have a brokerage account to which you can connect your Sierra Chart software for verification. If you do not already have an account, then we recommend the solution outlined at the following link: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement Once you have the above worked out, then you can setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group by following these instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* As to which exchange you need, it depends on whether you need the Market Depth data or not. You do not need this data for the Numbers Bars, TPO, or Volume Profile. The differences in the three exchanges you listed above are the following: - Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts: Has the data for the entire CME Group (all 4 exchanges) along with the Market Depth data. - Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for non-professional Trading accounts: Has the data for the entire CME Group (all 4 exchanges), but only has the Top-of-Book (1 level of Market Depth). We refer to this as no market depth data, even though there is 1 level. - CME non-professional top-of-book: Has the data for just the CME Exchange of The CME Group, and only has the top-of book (1 level of Market Depth). Which you choose depends on your needs. -- You do need to be on Package 11 in order to have access to the Numbers Bars, and TPO profiles along with real-time data. To activate a package, follow the instructions at the following link: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Alternative 1: Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts: Has the data for the entire CME Group (all 4 exchanges) along with the Market Depth data. Alternative 2: Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for non-professional Trading accounts: Has the data for the entire CME Group (all 4 exchanges), but only has the Top-of-Book (1 level of Market Depth). We refer to this as no market depth data, even though there is 1 level. Alternative 3: CME non-professional top-of-book: Has the data for just the CME Exchange of The CME Group, and only has the top-of book (1 level of Market Depth). okay let me explain what i'm looking for. I want to buy micro e mini s&p500 and e mini s&p500 And I want to be able to trade using orderflow and therefore I need to use the following: volumeprofile, makretprofile, footprint, cumulative delta, vwap. I want to choose the cheapest option in terms of data feed Regarding alternative (1) does this option have market depth, i.e. you don't just see level 1 in terms of price, but deeper for example level 2 you see bid and ask for example? and you see all orders. if I'm going to use volumeprofile, market profile and footprint etc do I need to choose this alternative because this alternative has market depth? regarding alternative (2) only have top of book which means there is no market depth at all or there is only level 2 which I think is just price? and no order depth is shown and you cannot see all orders. So I assume that if I want to use orderflow analysis, I cannot use this example as volumeprofile, marketprofile and footprint do not work with this alternative and if I have understood it correctly, options 1 and 2 are the same, however, they only differ in that alternative 1 has market depth, but alternative 2 does not, but only has top of book, which is in other words only level 1, i.e. only shows price. as for alterantive 3, I assume that you only get the data feed from the CME exchange ie CME and not for the remaining 3 exchanges ie CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX ? and then you only get top of book, i.e. level 1, which means that you don't get any market depth but only see price and no order depth such as all orders etc. And finally if I have understood correctly Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) has 4 exchanges which are CME, CBOT,COMEX and NYMEX But only CME Group has only 1 exchange which is CME and finally to answer my question. As you know, I want to sim trade futures and then I want to trade micro e mini s&p500 and e mini s&p500 and as you already know, I want to use volumeprofile, market profile, footprint, cumulative delta. so I assume that if I want to get away cheaper then I have to use one of the 3 alternatives above but at the same time I have to have a live funded trading account with a broker. And that it is not possible to sim trade with real-time data by using any of its 3 options as they require you to have a live funded trading account with a broker in order to be able to sim trade. and then it remains for me to only use service package 11 - Integrated Advanced (Monthly) - 46 US as this gives me the opportunity to sim trade without having a live funded trading account with any broker and also can I use real time data when doing sim trading? Isn't there a cheaper alternative for me? I hope you can understand me and I hope you can understand that my first language is not English and I appreciate if you can show consideration. thanks |

You do not need market depth data. And you only need data for the CME exchange. Just choose the cheapest option which is the third one you list above (CME non-professional top-of-book). You do need a funded live trading account to take advantage of the nonprofessional CME exchange fees. Therefore, you would need to be on Package 11, activate the exchange we recommend above, and connect to your live, funded, futures trading account - in order to get the real-time data for the CME Exchange and to be able to sim trade with it. But, another alternative is to use our Delayed Streaming Data and sim trade with this. This data acts like real-time data, but is delayed by 10 minutes, and it is free of cost. For this, you would be on package 5 and that is all. The rest is included with the package. I have an iron beam account that I will fund with money. If I then just connect sierrachart with my ironbeam account and use teton order routing. Will I then get a free data feed from cme exchange? I now understand how to get data feed but I don't understand how to get data feed and order routing service |

The data for the CME Group is not free. You need to activate and pay the exchange fees for the data. These exchange fees are separate from the package cost for using Sierra Chart. Keep in mind, Teton is the Order Routing service and Denali is the data. The Teton service does not have any order routing fees, so you save about $0.10 per side on trades in comparison to other services. The Denali data requires that you pay the exchange fees (as noted above). Once you have your account activated with a paid package (one of the "Integrated" packages), and you have your account setup with Ironbeam using the Teton Order Routing service, then follow the instructions at the following link. Be sure to follow the sub-instructions to setup the Denali data as well in these instructions: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
