Due to a mistake yesterday I accidentally deleted all my charts. I've been rebuilding my charts and there is one I can't duplicate. I had a line chart of MES with NQ and RTY overlaid for comparison. The Add Additional Symbol study won't allow me to place the symbols on the same chart area and Study/Price Overlay places the symbols at their respective levels and the chart is unreadable. I have the scale set to independent and use left side but that doesn't help. What do I have to do to correct this. PS: It did work on the older charts I was using.

Since it does not make sense to overlay MES, NQ, and RTY directly, I assume you meant a percentage overlay.

If that is true, I suggest you follow these instructions
Percent Change Since Open: Percent Change for Different Symbol

I guess you've never heard of a correlation chart. Here is an example done on a previous version of Sierra Chart. It is very helpful having all three of the indexes visible at once on one chart to get a view of how they are performing against each other. This feature was working in the current version of Sierra Chart for me until I lost my charts. This is the first time I've heard of Sierra deleting a useful feature.

Thanks for sharing that.
I haven't heard of it under that name.
Anyhow, I followed the instructions by Verrillio trading and successfully did set up the chart as described.
MNQ main chart with automatic scale
added to studies "Add additional Symbol"
The study does allow you to set them to chart region 1.
1st one for MES,
2nd one for RTY

On both I set the scale to independent, and the price multiplier to 0.01.
and the result is the expected overlay of the 3 symbols

I'm on version 2597

Tried the same also with "Overlay Bar" providing the exact same result.

I don't think any feature was deleted, just something missing in your setup of the chart.
What is the result you see on your end?
Keep in mind that the "Add additional Symbol" study is limited to the contract time.
Meaning when you look at the H contract you will only see data starting mid December.

I' using version 42233. I always update SC. It's working for you because you have an older version. I agree that something was removed because my charts were created on an older version and it still worked until the chart was lost. When I use it in the current version it places the symbols on the chart but without the price adjusted graphs, NQ is at 17900, RTY is at 2040 and MES is at 5050.

42233 is the revision number, what is your version number.
On the help >> about page one row above (see attached screen shot).

I'm on version 2597 and revision 49116

You screen shot looks like the scale for the studies is not set to "Independent".
When I change the scale for the studies to Automatic, I get the same as you have.

To change the scale for the studies, got to Analysis >> Studies or F6
Double click your "Add Additional Symbol" for NQ
In there click the Scale button and activate "Independent".
Do the same for RTY.

Is there a reason you do not update to the latest SC?

User213504, you don't mention how you deleted all your charts. Many people do not know Sierra keeps 30 days of backups. So depending on what exactly happened, your charts might still be in \SierraChart\Backups folder. If this does not apply to you, this post might help others. Best of luck with your rebuilding/etc.
