Hello, I have a question about how overnight positions with IB work. As you know, IB does a reset at night and the trader workstation goes down so it disconnects from Sierra. If I have positions on with OCO's in the market when IB goes down at night and my OCO's get hit that are on IB's server, how does Sierra behave when I open it back up in the morning if those positions aren't there anymore. For example. I have a position on NQ futures at the RTH close. I have a stop and target OCO's from Sierra that are transmitted to IB's server. At midnight or whenever, IB goes down for their reset, then sometime in the middle of the night when Sierra is not connected to IB the market takes out the OCO. So no more position. What will Sierra do when I open it in the morning? Thanks for your help. |
