I'm just starting out with USCT, intending to trade equities with IBKR via Sierra. I just subscribed to USCT and via a Quote Board, I see the "last" price for META at 465.13. However, it's actual closing price today (feb 13) is 460.12. Further, I'm not seeing anything in my charts. The price you will see will always be the latest trade price on the Quote Board which would be the last trade price closer to 8 PM.

No, something is definitely wrong for me. The market just opened and prices are not updating. I think my data is delayed. Clearly something is set up incorrectly.

First refer to this help topic: Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks". Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". Very odd. I closed the chart book and reopened and now data appears to be real time. I'll follow up if I see this again or have more information. Thanks for the support, SC.

I spoke too soon. Going to a new instrument showed me delayed data. I disconnected from the data feed and reconnected and real time data appeared. I then reloaded my original chapbook and requested a symbol that I'd not previously looked at and it loaded the historical data and switched to what appeared to be delayed data. I then disconnected from the data feed again and reconnected and realtime data started to appear. I think the issue is somehow related to having an historical chart load for the first time. Before I upload a log file for the single chart scenario as requested, do you want a chart book with 2 charts, one intraday and one historical? How do you recommend proceeding? |

Most likely the reason is a symbol conflict. Very strange. I entered a new symbol, "SMCI", no suffixes, etc, and it loaded historical and realtime on the first go. And again with "SPY" and it worked as it should. Will return to this thread on next failure, if there is one. |

Consistently do not use any suffixes. You need to check among all of the symbols for conflicts.
