If SpreadsheetFunction CROSSOVER(range1, range2) operates using prior bar close vs bar close, what is a good way to operate using bar open vs bar close?

It does not specifically work on the Bar Close. It works on whatever is the range of data that is given. So if you want to use the Open for one of the items to test in the crossover then reference the Open as one of the ranges.
