Hi, I've been using Sierra for charting and Jigsaw for order execution but its buggy and hate having to look back and forth. What I do like about theirs is the current trades don't show trades once they've been not traded for whatever time I want. Can this be done in Sierra I can't figure out how to do this want to quit using Jigsaw. Bid x Ask x Time ago 6 x 300 16 17 x 350 10 285 x 17 6 375 x 400 1 If I set the timeout to 15 secs do NOT want to see the 6x300 on top then 6 seconds later the 17 x 350 disappears only want to be watching what is recently trading. I do something similar using volume by price for last time or X bars but would like to do this in current bid ask columns so I can make wider or smaller depending on the situation and takes too long to edit study to do this. Maybe another solution if this can't be done is a hotkey to add or remove studies? Then I can change width of this or have multiple and maybe have 30s time most of the time but at my entry area change it to show last 5 secs etc. That might actually be BETTER for me! Thanks wanted to be very clear sorry for so many words. |

We do not have a way to remove levels in the Current Traded Bid/Ask columns based on elapsed time. Resetting the entire column is the only option. What you are suggesting with the Volume by Price is a good idea, but there is not a way to get a rolling 15 seconds of data, without constantly resetting the study, as you have suggested. Although there is a slightly easier way to reset the Volume by Price profile, and that is to use the "Volume by Price Reset Button" study. This allows you to define the VbP you want to reset and have a Control Bar button assigned to it through the "Advanced Custom Study Buttons". But, this will only reset the profile to the current bar starting time. In the end, you would have to create a custom study to do exactly what you want. Ok how about this a reference chart set to 1 second and a 15 sec or 15 bar volume by price. Can I then add this to other chart and have it display? That would give me the 15s rolling data I need that is available in Jigsaw, relatively recent addition last 3 months. They put it in as so many scalpers were asking for it.
