I have read the initial update that will include SPX and VIX, along with CGI ( CBOE Global Indices ). I have attached an image of these separate CBOE packages.

SPX and VIX are included under this 'Main' Feed. But on the website, CBOE lists everything under CBOE Global Indices Feed Products. @ this link https://www.cboe.com/us/indices/indicesproducts/#csmi_main

I just want to double check that all the chart listings under Main will be added along with SPX and VIX.

Hi User677437, are you referring to the CBOE Feed that is available on Sierra Chart today?

Today Sierra Chart offers VIX Futures Data via the CFE (CBOE Futures Exchange Feed); you can activate the CFE Feed by completing #2 and #3 here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#DenaliCFE

To activate Real-time Data from Denali Feeds like CFE it is necessary to be on one of SP10, SP11, or SP12 (which you are on now):
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages

The CBOE Feed you are talking about (Cboe Global Indices Feed, CGIF) is being considered for the Future.

Yes I'm aware of VIX Futures, and the VIX ETF's within NASDAQ Totalview.

I'm asking for clarification, that SC will not be adding the CBOE Main Datafeed, and just the CGIF. The terminology on the CBOE website is confusing.

On the Website it listed all packages under 'CBOE Global Indices Feed Products', That include - Main, CGI ( CBOE Global Indices ), Morningstar, Morningstar Customer, CCCY, FTSE Russel, INAV, MSCI, Print Values and others.

Personally I am not interested in the CBOE Global Indices that contains international data or any other package besides 'Main'. I am interested in the 'Main' data feed because that has Volatility Indices for Gold, Oil, TLT, NQ, and more. It also has the SPX and VIX charts, and those are 2 additions that are planned for SC, but they are under the 'Main' Data feed. So I don't know if it is a whole package deal, or SC is just looking to subscribe to select chart symbols like SPX and VIX and add all the international data with CGI.

Thank you.

Noted User677437, you are "interested in the 'Main' data feed because that has Volatility Indices for Gold, Oil, TLT, NQ, and more. It also has the SPX and VIX charts".

Regarding your interest in the "Volatility Indices for ... NQ", do you mean: [VXN - Cboe NASDAQ-100 Volatility Index]

Yes, VXN for NQ, GVZ for Gold, OVX for Crude, VXTLT for TLT. These are the charts names that quickly stood out to me. I can list more, when I have more time to go through and see what is applicable to traders, if SC pays by a per symbol basis, than the entire chart package, that would be an important detail. I don't know how these things work.

I hope I am relying my concern correctly. SC mentioned plans to add SPX and VIX datafeeds, however these are a part of the 'Main' feed, that is listed under CBOE Global Indices Feed Products. From the sticky that I read, that I no longer can find, it sounded like SC was just adding SPX and VIX symbols, and replacing the international - global NASDAQ Indexes the, UK, Germany, Europe, Nordic/Norway, Swiss data etc, which sounds like it's expensive to get all that data from different countries.

If SC is subscribing to the entire 'Main' package, that is listed on the CBOE website, then that's great. If SC is just looking to subscribe to the most recommended symbols like SPX and VIX and it's not a whole package deal with the data-feed, I would like to weigh in on that with my recommendations.

Thank you
