I have Iron beam as my clearing firm. Could you explain what the CME professional fees would be and if I would need to do anything with Iron beam as well? Do they have to approve the use of this data?

First, you only have to pay professional fees if you are considered a professional by the CME. Are you considered a professional? Ironbeam does not need to do anything but you do need to put your Ironbeam account information in that form. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am not a professional. Am i supposed to get something that says it was accepted? What would happen if you did not fill out that info? I did fill it out but not sure if it is pending or something else. Just dont want to get charged an insane amount of money for data fees. Whats the most you can be charged, any idea? Sorry for the dumb question, very new to this and just want to make sure i am following each step correctly. Thanks!

You can view the status of the agreements at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements Note that you will only be charged for the exchanges that you activate. We see that your agreements have been accepted and you have activated exchanges. But you have not connected to your live, funded, futures trading account yet, so you will still not be getting real-time data. Your "Verified Until" date is currently showing as "0000-00-00". You can view the "Verified Until" date for your account at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges We need to know what order routing service you are using with IronBeam in order to point you to the proper instructions for how to connect. You should be setup with either CQG or Teton. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have reached out to Iron beam. I use Apex accounts through Rithmic. I spoke with iron beam and they said i could just get all my data through sierra chart and i have service package 11, is the clearing firm just there for the order routing service? Sorry just so confused by this process.

You are wanting to get data for the CME Group at the non-professional rates. The CME Group requires that you have a live, funded, futures trading account, and Prop Firms do not count towards this. Refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Ironbeam will satisfy this requirement, but if you do not want to use Ironbeam you can use another brokerage. It just has to be one that you can connect your Sierra Chart software to. We need to know if Ironbeam is setting you up to use CQG or Teton for your order routing. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
