Numbers Bars bug in v2591

It appears that "Enable Diagonal Zero Bid/Ask Compares" is being ignored in v2591. See attached screenshot with annotations. Text colouring is set to "Diagonal Dominant Side AskVol Bid Vol Percentage".

Sorry for the late response, we needed to look into this a bit deeper to understand what was occurring. It turns out that there have not been any changes to this, it is the way it has always been working. It is setup such that it is only at the top and bottom of the bar where the "Enable Diagonal Zero Bid/Ask Compares" applies (i.e. when the comparison is being done with a NULL). We will see if we can make a change to this, but to do so would require another Input to the Numbers Bars study to ensure that the existing functionality continues as it is (for people that are used to it this way). Thanks John. I recall years ago the function only handling the top/bottom of bar prices. It may be that it's simply a documentation error. The docs here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/NumbersBars.php#Input_EnableDiagonalZeroBidAskCompares allude to both intra-bar and end of bar ("additionally...."). |
