Switching from ES to CL- Time Zones........

Hi I'm made a copy of my chart Book and currently the settings are all tuned for trading ES and NQ Pacific Time, but I'm switching them to reflect Crude Oil. I've changed the session times via "charts settings" and changed the session times to reflect CL but now I've realized I have a lot of charts that also need to be changed, I have multiple studies that have all been set to reflect ES/NQ session times. Is there way to change everything globally at once? Spending hours on sierra rather than trading Vwap bands Time Range TPOs Vol Profile etc All need to be manually changed to reflect CL? |

If your charts are setup to be linked for the Session Times, then changing one chart will change all of them. If they are not already setup, then it will still take some time to setup the linking, but then it will be done for the next time. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Chart Linking >> Session Times (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Linking menu) Another option would be to ensure that the Symbol Settings for the CL symbol are the way you want them, then when you change the symbol, the Session Times should update to what you have set in the Symbol Settings. Refer to the following: Global Symbol Settings: Instructions If you do not have it set, then the link for the Symbol may also be useful. Thanks and the studies? Do they have to be changed manually?

The studies should not need to be changed as long as the Session Times are correct. Most of the studies use the Session Times to determine the start/end of the day. Unless you have specifically set special times, in which case you may need to update them. And there are a few particular studies, like "Time Range Highlight" where you specifically enter times, so you would have to review these.
