Hi Support,

I have a strange problem with 3 of my charts - I have a custom study called 'GC: Fair Value Gap' on a number of charts, but just on 3 charts the study does not appear in the studies list for the chart. I can clearly see the study on the chart, but have no way of removing of modifying it! It works fine on numerous other charts.

I have attached two screenshots, one showing the study visible on the chart, and another showing that it's not in the list. Any ideas please?

Thanks,
Bill

If you duplicated this chart from one that has user drawings, you need to remove them. If your chart has copy user drawings set in chart settings to point to another chart, they could show that way.

Thanks for your help, but this is an actual study, not a user drawing?

But, that study adds the FVG zones as drawings, so prior comment from user719512 is 100% relevant.

Oh I see.......

Thanks guys, yes these chart were duplicated from another chart book, and considerable changes have now been made. I notice I cannot remove the drawings that the study has created on the new charts, so think I will have to start over and duplicate with FVG hidden?

Cheers,
Bill

If you can not delete the drawing they might be linked to another chart.
Check
Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings >> Copy Chart Drawings from Chart #'s

Clean any entries there and those linked dwgs should be gone

Save your chart book.

One by one, delete a study from the chart, hit apply.

Did the drawing go away? If yes, there's your answer.

When all studies removed, is drawing still there? If yes, there is a user drawing on your chart.

Close chartbook without saving! Then reopen.

If user drawings were detected, Ctrl Alt M, and remove one or all drawings to solve your problem.

Thank you both, the drawings from the study were coming from a drawing link from the old charts (from the duplication), I did not realise that studies would/could make drawing objects which would link like this.

I have also now realised that in the settings for FVP study you can tell it not to copy to other charts, problem sorted.

Great community here for a newbie like me, cheers!
