I promised I searched for this specific issue, but couldn't find it. When trading two Rithmic (Apex) accounts, the order allocation works really well, except for one thing. I use attached orders, and when entering a position it places my stop and profit targets perfectly. However, there is one thing that does not function properly, as far as I can tell. Say I enter long 4 contracts. When I enter it's all good, but often I will insert a limit sell of one contract in between price and the 4 contracts that are sitting higher. It works great on the parent account and when using one account, but that added limit sell doesn't trigger on the chart that has trades allocated to it. If I make a market order with the Sell Market button on the trade window it works, but not added limit orders on the chart. Any help? Questions? |

This sounds like an issue on the Rithmic side: but that added limit sell doesn't trigger on the chart that has trades allocated to it. If I make a market order with the Sell Market button on the trade window it works, but not added limit orders on the chart.
Could not be an issue with the order Allocation to Trade Accounts functionality. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thanks. I finally got around to checking it out in Trade Simulation mode and it does the same thing. Wouldn't that suggest it is not a function of Rithmic? |

Are there any planned updates for correcting this functionality? Doesn't work with any data feed, simulation, etc.

We do not understand what is meant by this: It works great on the parent account and when using one account, but that added limit sell doesn't trigger on the chart that has trades allocated to it.
Is the order added to the other accounts? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Sorry for the confusion. No, when adding an order to the parent account it does not show up on the other accounts.

Enable Order Confirmations and the order confirmation should indicate that it is going to be submitted to the other Trade Accounts as well. There is nothing that will prevent that if it is submitted just like any other order from the same chart. Instructions: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Order Confirmations (chart specific) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi thanks for the reply. As I mentioned, everything works fine for allocating trades except this one thing. Please let me try again to explain with this example: -I'm long 4 contracts, with my OCO limit and stop all showing up on both the parent chart and the sub. -I click on the parent chart to enter a limit sell of one contract between my entry and the profit target to scale one out early. -That shows up on the parent chart but does not show up on the sub -That limit sell fills, I now have 3 long on the parent account, with some profit taken, but still have 4 long on the sub account. Orders submitted on the parent chart, once in a position, do not show up on the sub account. |

We see no reason for this problem and cannot reproduce it. It is not making any sense to us. We want you to enable order confirmations: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Order Confirmations (chart specific) On the order confirmation window it will show what other Trade Accounts the order is being allocated to. Do you see the order being allocated to the other accounts. If not, then order allocation is not enabled. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
