In the Sub-Instance set "Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> DTC Protocol Server >> Additional Listening Port" to "0".

Then restart the sub-instance.

One more question : I have multiple monitors and use the 2nd sub instance on a different monitor than the first instance. Is it possible for the 2nd sub instance to remember this location (and its size) ? Currently, The 2nd sub instance opens right on top of the first instance.

Thanks

It should remember the location. If it is not doing this, then is an operating system issue that we can not solve.

It just happened again after setting the port to 0 . Attaching the SS

I checked the port was changed back to some 11100 number. I have changed the port to 0 on both main and sub instance and restarted both. It is at 0 now.

Its remembering the main instances' location but not the sub instances.

You do need to do this in the main instance:
Set "Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> DTC Protocol Server >> Additional Listening Port" to "0".

Then restart the sub-instance.

Its remembering the main instances' location but not the sub instances.
