I am trying to set the correct times on SPX500 without any luck. I have looked through all of the instructions and support threads, nothing works. The session times are correct. I have tried different session times, timezones, no evenning session etc and the problem still remains.. The chart isn't showing Friday, instead it skips to Sunday. What is happening? https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1705474697458.png Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-01-17 06:58:30

We really can not tell from the image that the data is actually missing. The dates do not all show at the bottom of the chart. You would need to use the Crosshair tool to see if there is no data from that date. If you are missing data, then refer to the following: Data Errors or Spikes in Charts, Flat or Flat Line Graph, Compressed Graph, Errors with Date/Time Values: 2.1.2 Deleting and Re-downloading Data. Also set the option to load weekend data: Chart Session Times: Load Weekend Data Setting (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times) And use the US Eastern time zone for that chart instead of London and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the prompt reply, I referred to the above thread, changed the timezone to US Eastern and loaded weekend data. The problem persists with the chart printing every day except Friday

Have you tried redownloading the data as suggested in post #2?

What are your Session Times and Time Zone set to? Also, if you change the Bar Period to 2 hours, do you then see data for Friday? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes I can see Friday on 2 hour bars, yet nothing on the daily. The session times are in the first screenshot, only change is it's now New York instead of London.

This is going to be completely related to the Session Times. Keep in mind that Friday is a shorter trading day than the rest of the week, so if your Session Starting Time is late in the day, then you will not see any trading listed for Friday, as it is all covered by the Thursday trading day. For example, attached is an image of SPX500 where there is no Friday data for the Daily bars. The data exists, but since the Session Start Time is set to 17:00, the daily bar for Thursday is taking up all the data from Friday. Then since trading does not start again until Sunday night, the next bar is for Sunday. You need to look at your Session Times in relation to your Time Zone and set the Starting Time for how you want to see the data.
