I ran sierra charts on mac through codeweavers. I setup alerts to chime sound but no sound is playing. I turned up the macbook pro volume all the way up still no sound can be heard once the alert is triggered

Go to the Window Menu >> Alert Manager. In the Alert Manager, Select Alerts from the Menu and make sure the "Mute All Alerts Sounds" is not checked. Next go to the Global Setting Menu >> General Settings >> Alert. Make sure "Add Alert To Compact Alert Pop-up Window for (Alert ..)" is set to Yes. Go to the Edit Menu. Make sure Alerts for Chart and Chartbook are not disabled. |

Thank you I needed to change the "Add Alert To Compact Alert Pop-up Window for (Alert ..)" is set to Yes Atleast now the alerts sound. Still trying to figure out why the alerts will not sound on the homepod mini and just play on the macbook pro. I selected the homepod to play sounds from my macbook pro but only sierra charts alerts will play the macbook speakers but if i run a youtube video that plays on homepod mini |
