SierraChart has the BTCCNY-BTCChina symbol but it does not have their newly added HKD and USD markets which they bragged about in this article: http://www.coindesk.com/btc-china-launches-usd-hkd-bitcoin-trading-accounts/

SierraChart also lacks their LTC/CNY and LTC/BTC markets (which are available over at https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btcchina/ltccny along with a lot of other exchanges and symbols).

It would perhaps be nice to also have these other BTCChina symbols available in SierraChart. I do not know if the USD and HKD markets at BTCChina are ghost-towns or not but it would be nice to have them in SierraChart if they are not. As for LTC/CNY and LTC/BTC, imho LTC will go to zero and get de-listed anyway so those are perhaps not as important (but what do I know, I'm just this guy, you know).

The very important Bitcoin exchange Huobi is also still missing from SierraChart. It is still the biggest and most important BTC exchange in the world. They do have the WebSocket as documented in not-english language at https://www.huobi.com/help/index.php?a=socket_help

One last unrelated little unimportant issue, https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitstamp/btcusd (and bitcoinity) still updates long before BTC-BSTMP in SierraChart does and this is specially noticeable when the "market" actually moves. You can actually count to ten between the time bitcoinwisdom updates and the time some carrier pidgin reaches SierraChart with the memo that the market did something.

Sorry for all the time wasted reading all of this, I realize it became a bit long.

We are going to get to this as soon as we can.

Keep in mind that Sierra Chart does not only support bitcoin data fees but many others. So we have limited time to be spending on bitcoin.

And when it comes to the delay with bitstamp, that just has to do with the method of connection. It is not something we can necessarily improve upon. The issue is more going to be on the the bitstamp side if not completely. Although they have a streaming data feed, it is not something that we can easily utilize because it takes reverse engineering because it is meant for web-based applications.

BTC China does not have in their data feed the BTC HKD and USD markets.

They do have LTC and we will be adding that.

Thank you for your quick and great support. I do understand there are many other currencies & that BTC is a side-hobby for you guys.

As for the Bitstamp feed, if they don't provide feeds then it's their problem and we will just have to live with it. Odd side-note, it seems Bitfinex is the reverse, trades show up in SierraChart (time and sales window, chart etc) immediately and it takes five hours before web-based charts get the telex. Good job on that.

We will be implementing some changes with the Bitstamp data feed interface that might help. Basically if their system is not responsive after about 5 seconds we will make a new data request rather than waiting for the standard timeout.
