I'm testing the trade allocation with 10 sim accounts (before moving onto my Apex accounts). The issue I'm having is not being able to allocate trades to more than 1 accounts unless all the charts and trade windows are open (with each set to a different Sim account of course). Is there a way to accomplish this trade allocation by using one master chart/trade window (Sim 1) and monitoring the positions of all Sim accounts in the trade activity log, without having to open the rest of the charts/trade windows? Making this work will help with doing this eventually with my Apex accounts. I've looked into the documentation and forum, but unfortunately can't seem to figure out a solution Thanks! |

You definitely do not have to have other charts open. You just need to have the number of Sim accounts setup that you want to use. Refer to the following setting in case you have not already done this: Global Trade Settings Windows: Number of Simulation Accounts (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General) Then on a chart on which you want the trades to be copied, you add all the accounts in the Order Allocation to Trade Accounts setup window. In particular, you select the account at the top in the "Available Accounts" list and then select the "Add" button. The accounts to which the orders will be copied are then listed in the "Allocation Accounts" list. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks John. Unfortunately I'm missing something, because it's not working for me. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing. Grateful for your help here. Thanks |

Edit: It appears my attachment keeps getting deleted. I've taken a screenshot here. Note that the chart and trade window is for SIM1 and SIM2 through SIM10 were added to the allocation accounts (list) with a trade multiplier of 1. The trade activity log shows only SIM1 account and only 1 contract is being traded despite it SIM2-10 being in the list. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=170445203295.png (For some reason this shows up as all black with the order allocation and trade activity log windows open) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-01-05 10:58:38

Ensure that the option on the Trade Window under the "M" menu for "M >> Settings >> Enable Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" has the checkmark next to it. Otherwise, the orders will not be duplicated to the other accounts.

It has a checkmark next to it. It's still not being duplicated though. The screenshot attachment above also shows it is "Yes"

We are not able to reproduce the issue with your chartbook. But in looking at the image closer, we noticed that you are looking at the "Chart Stats" page on the Trade Activity Log. That page is not going to show the multiple accounts that are being traded on the one chart. Please open a new position with the Order Allocation enabled, and then select "Trade >> Trade Orders Window". You should see the full list of orders for each trading account in there. You would also be able to see this on the Trades page of the Trade Activity Log. Let us know if you are still seeing an issue after this. Thanks John. Is there a way I can see the open P/L for each account (SIM1, SIM2, SIM3, etc) on one screen in the Trade Orders/Positions/Activity Log?

The "Trades" tab of the Trade Activity Log has this information. But you may want to use our "Simulated Futures Trading Service" rather than the built-in Simulation Mode. This is a bit more realistic simulation mode and uses our servers, so you do not have to have Sierra Chart running at all times during the simulation. But, it also gives you the data in the Positions and Account Balance windows. Refer to the following: Simulated Futures Trading Service For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
