Please see attached screenshot. There are 2 rectangles on top of each other and there's text associated with the bottom rectangle but it's hidden by the top one. How can I get the text to stay on top and be visible?

Is that text drawn with the Type Text tool? In any case, there really is not much that can be done other than to delete it and to retype it again so it will be on top of the other drawings. It's not from the type text tool, it's the text that's linked to the rectangle drawing.

Ok, I copied the rectangle and the copied one's text shows up on top of the other rectangle. It seems that whichever one is created last gets precedence.
