1) Is there a way to create a Chart DOM from an existing Trade DOM without recreating the entire chart over ? 2) I am using a Trade DOM in one instance and have a separate chart in a different instance with Chart Trade mode set to on; on the non DOM chart. I can see attached order lines when I am trading live but not when I am in SIM mode. I have both the Trade Dom and the other chart both set to SIM mode. Not sure why or if this is feasible? Thank you SPL |

1) No, there is not a way to do this. 2) Just to make sure we are understanding - when in Sim mode, you are not seeing the orders from one instance in a separate instance of Sierra Chart. If these instances are completely separate installations (not opened using "File >> New Instance") then this is the correct functioning - you will not see any trades between instances when using Simulation Mode. The built-in simulation mode does not cross between separate installations. If you want to be able to view the simulated trades in multiple instances, then we recommend using our Simulated Futures Trading Service, which will allow you to do this since the orders are held on a server, so all instances can access them (all the instances just have to be set to the same service and trading account, just like live trading). Refer to the following: Simulated Futures Trading Service For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
