Hello,

I am a new user of SierraChart software. I managed to configure many things myself, but I still have some questions left. I already searched support board and forums, but could find answers. Apologies if my questions are duplicate.

At the moment I am interested in US stocks only. I have subscribed for SC package 11 and "NASDAQ TotalView US stock data" and "US Equities Consolidated Tape" data feeds.

As I understand, to display real time Numbers Bars and Time&Sales I should use the "US Equities Consolidated Tape" data feed and use normal ticker name, i.e. IBM (used to be IBM-USCT).

On the other hand, DOM data comes from the "NASDAQ TotalView US stock data" data feed and can be accessed by adding a suffix to the ticker name, i.e. IBM-NQTV.

My goal is to have Number Bars and Chart DOM in one chart. Reasons for that are:
1. Price moves in sync in chart and DOM
2. I can easily review hundreds of tickers by clicking on them in the watchlist window

Having two separate tickers for the same company, i.e. IBM and IBM-NQTV, makes this very difficult. I could have 2 charts side by side, but then I loose price sync and would have to click F5 and type in XXX-NQTV in the second chart every time I switch ticker on the first chart.

I might be wrong, but on the support forums, I saw that using _MBO suffix, i.e. IBM_MBO, would combine the data from both feeds. I haven't explored that option in details, but at glance it did not work for me.

Is there any way achieve my goal?

Thank you

As you state, the solution is to use the _MBO suffix (e.g. IBM_MBO). This will give you the primary data from the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape exchange, but also give you the Market Depth data from the NASDAQ TotalView exchange.

I tried using _MBO suffix before, but that did not work for me as expected. It was simply not showing market depth. Then I tried using it yesterday in the afternoon on a random ticker CELH and it worked. Today right after market open it does not work again - if I compare DOMs of "CELH_MBO" and "CELH-NQTV", I clearly see that NQTV show more levels. I am attaching a screenshot.

This may be a problem on our side. We are going to have to look into this. This will take some time. We do not know how soon it can be resolved.

It could also be because you are using Interactive Brokers.

However, we do think there is a problem on our side, with market depth with _MBO symbols.
