I'm not sure if this is how the feature should work. When I set a bracket order with a target and stop that uses the breakeven function, the entry price and stop price become merged on the Sierra Chart as well as in the TWS IB chart. Am I doing something wrong or is this the normal behaviour? Screen shot attached. |

We see no reason why this would have to do with the Move to Breakeven setting. We have tried submitting an order for EUR.USD to TWS both with that option enabled and disabled and we see odd behavior. TWS increases the price of the Sell stop to a price higher than the market price and then it gets canceled. You will need to seek help from IB about this. None of this is happening from the Sierra Chart side. While we are happy to offer this functionality and generally it works well, it is this kind of problem that we see from IB which is the reason why we hesitate adding this functionality to begin with. This does not mean server-side bracket orders are not reliable. They are. We are going to be adding them for CTS T4 and also CQG and other services. Essentially what we see with the behavior in the test we did now is completely nonsensical behavior, on the IB side, which renders the future useless in this test.
